MegaUpload is seized because there were actual criminal activities apart from the filehosting itself. That's probably the main reason.

I don't get how they can do this. This calls out conspiracy a long way. First approve of the NDAA, then take control of the media in the country. I'm just hoping for a revolution.

I don't think this is in any way SOPA related. The FBI doesn't do these kind of investigations in the span of a week. It's just coincidence.

Sucks about MU but if they were really laundering money it's probably for the best. The site might come back again later. Probably with new management.

Good, lulsec should get involved too, hell get all those groups on, it wouldnt help the situation at all of course but it sure as hell would be fun to watch..

If anything it just shows how the public will always be one step ahead anyway, even if they do pass SOPA (or similar)
