Accessing encrypted files

Does someone knows a strong program that can access encrypted files no mater what? I few years ago I encrypted some files in windows XP, but did not backup the license to access them again. So I'm pretty fucked, yes I know, it's all over the internet, but maybe there is a hackz0rz tool that can access it.

It's about some youth pics and files.

The files do not show any previews, and it's letters are green. Also the folder letters are green. (which basically means they're encrypted).

Have you tried typing "password" as the encryption code?

Think you're pretty much boned.

You'll have to build up a new porn stash.

Yeah.

I'm sorry, I completely misunderstood the question. If you've encrypted it with a weak password, you're fucked. You could always try to brute-force it, but with a decent password it would take ages.

I did not encrypt it with a password. That's the weirdest thing. I just clicked on a folder -> properties -> advanced and put a key on it. Never knew what It would do, and I didn't mind. Untill the next format, I was screwed.

What about take ownership of folder and then decrypt?

Well what was the key?
Was it one of those you can make with BitLocker?

You shouldn't have ignored the warning Windows gave you.

This. The whole point of encryption is that someone who doesn't have the key simply cannot access it.
