One of many reasons Mother is my most favourite game, along with Paper Mario, is the typical humour, which is also in Paper Mario. It's the TVTropes kind of humour. It's breaking it's own fourth wall, so to say.

The best ones are from Mother though. But I can't find them on the internet. It's basically like... you enter Magicant... you see some kind of weird half-cat... you talk to him and he says 'Hi, I'm a cat swimming in the ground.' It's totally not relevant to the story at all. This is Mother.

Those quotes are in my opinion the most annoying, since every nameless NPC keeps saying it, along with stuff like "Watch out for Alice McLaverty. She's been riding asses again" at completely random moments at completely random spots.

The best quotes are from that comedian guy on the strip. Something like "I told my wife "You know, you look pretty good even though you're a Ghoul. Too bad she isn't a Ghoul, OUCH!".

Yes-Man is also pretty funny, along with other robots.
