All great ideas :)

I usually try to find a synergy between the game type and the map I use (since adapting existing maps is where my gamemode is to work its magic). First I find a good map, then I try to imagine what sort of game type can be played on there. Good thing Source has such an amazing backlog of high quality maps.

Remember - In a gamemode like this the gunplay is one of the most important things in the game. Maybe try moving away from CS:S's old, bland gunplay and make something new and fresh.

Looks Triggin' awesome:D I'm happy i buyed Gmod couple of days ago, will it come out within 2 weeks? , early september you said, Hopefully as soon as possible: Keep up the good work man! You're doing alot of great stuff atm :D

Compressed it will probably be around 80MB(?). Still a lot though. I'm busy downscaling weapon textures to save space. You won't see a difference anyway, most textures are way larger than they need to be (gamebanana modellers usually make 1024x1024 textures full of minor details nobody notices anyway).

We are getting a new hud right? The Gun Run hud really does not suit it.

The HUD in my last screenshot will be the HUD upon launch. Afterwards I want to rework the HUD so it's different for both teams, and has a less generic visual style.

However I have no idea what the design will be so feel free to make suggestions :V

Uncompressed. But the majority (read: all) ZS content isn't compressed on the downloadserver so it's pretty much the same. Usually we only compress maps and such.

Instead of finalizing the shop menu and loadout system like I should, I keep getting distracted by other tasks (which will still benefit the gamemode).

You can open the shop at any time (although it's recommended not to do it in the middle of a fight :P). It depends on your loadout with what you spawn.

Buying a weapon will be permanent. I'm still trying to think out if I want certain stuff to have limited uses and such (like special abilities), which you can stock up on.

Needs filterable categories of the guns themselves somewhere.

Filters on things like price, power, experience and class. Descriptions will probably be more detailed. It would be neat if you'd get a 3D spin-around of the weapon when you click for more details.
