I don't know in my college if we are allowed to surf on every site we want.
What I know is that we can access a specific room to use computers whenever we want, but I don't have time for that and the way to enter there sucks (we need to fill a paper and then give it to the secretery and then we have the responsibility of all the students in the room etc).
In my high school last year we couldn't surf whereever we wanted (also a documentalist caught me and a friend playing games so it costed us 1 "glue" hour, means I had to come a wednesday afternoon to check the books in the library and classify them with their number shit...)

Someguy in my school went on a proxy site, then went on meatspin and he was like:
"hey guys, look!"
He got to a spin counter of 45 and stopped.
A brave soul...

The worst, the curse, was your dreams came true,
God is a mirror in which each man sees himself
Hell is a place where you don’t need any help
When I first met you your face was like snow
Wherever I went to, you wanted to go
Your face, your grace, your can of mace in a case, as you put it down,
8:17 on the ground, your faith in a clown, your faith in a clown
Don’t leave me now,
Don’t leave me now.

@Corby: does it also hide the stuff in the logbooks and such? Since they use that technique in our school too.
I dont know the method your school uses to logbook so I couldn't be 100% sure on that. If they're binded specially to the IE.exe and any other internet applications specifically then you should be fine with it. If they log via cookies, then no, because I share internet explorers cache/cookies.

wow you guys are so lucky. my school has blocked the first 20 pages including the searches proxy, pr0xii, proxii, proxie, etc. they have banned 90% of video and gaming websites. cmd and such is blocked obviously. they even blacked the usb drives because me and a friend got a shortcut into user data and but 2girls1cup onto every users account and spread shitty batch crashes around every computer XD. every teacher can turn off any computer, moniter usb, cd/dvd and such in just about any room from their computer and they blocked notepad so there is almost nothing we can do to get around this exept the ethernet bug. and we cant use floppy disks becuase all the slots have been filled with paper and stuff.we managed to get a blacklist password but none of us know how to use the blacklist thing properly. any ways around this would be nice.

Basically anything that doesn't need compiling can be written and saved with notepad.

oh damn. our high school blocked many websites today
.
Lighter side is that i hacked admin rights to my account (every student gots hes own account which is saved to same server) and its undetecable, because i use it as an temporary (when i am logged in, and i want to use it) and when i stop using it, it deletes logs after i registered in as an admin. I use USB stick for that
.
Oh thats no more than some windows "glitching"
Funny part in this, is that teachers will check students USB-sticks, and they didnt find my hack file, cuz it looks like one of my school projects
