Legoland Installation problems D: Yes, it is a real issue ;)

Herro there everyone,
Let me explain my query before I report me plea,
You see, recently I recieved Legoland (the PC game) from Amazon for about, £2.50,
and since this game is from my childhood, and how I enjoyed it so much, I decided to buy it :D

However, I have found from trying to install it that I get the following message,

Quote

The program or feature "\??\D:\setup.exe" cannot start or run due to incompatability with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatable version is available.


I have found from research using 'google' ;D that it was designed in 16-bit and that it shouldn't run for Vista and Windows 7 users.

But I was wondering whether there would be a way to change formatting/whatever so it can run with Windows 7.

It wont work. You are using a 64Bit OS and the game only works on 32Bit systems. You can try compability mode but I don't think that it would help.

Not Install. Just rightclick on the application --> properties --> then go to compability mode and choose Windows XP SP2.

But the message springs up when I try and install it, it hasn't been installed yet so I can't run it ATM.

Then you can forget it. It will not work. Many old games don't work on 64bit system :(

Is not possible.
Ah well, I guess if I find an old pc, or just one with a worse OS, then I shall install it on it.

Make a dual-boot with xp or use vmware with a virtual xp install.

It won't work, I have it to with my pc's. Old games don't feel like working for some reason, the only way is a virtual OS, an old pc or emulator.

That since iirc, vmware is on that pc with an iso of XP :P
